Submitting Questions and Comments - Please Read
by Dr. Greg » April 8th, 2009, 4:01 pm
The Question and Answer Forums were established to provide our readers with the opportunity to ask specific questions of the Guide's authors as well as to leave comments and suggestions about the Foreign Teachers Guide to Living and Working in China.
While we may publish collaborative replies from anonymous members that add something of value to our initial responses, the two Q&A forums (Ask Dr. Greg and Ask Headmaster Ken, respectively) are not intended to serve as open, public anonymous forums for the expression of opposing or differing viewpoints.
There are literally dozens of anonymous China EFL forums devoted to the spirited debate of virtually every aspect of living and working in China one can imagine. Middle Kingdom Life was not created to serve this function. Readers who post questions to these forums do expect to receive responses from the named authors only, which is why they have chosen to post here and not on an open anonymous forum.
How To Submit a Question or Comment
As of March 1, 2010, user registration is now synced with the rest of the site, so you will first have to register an account on either the forum or blog before being able to submit a question.
After creating an account, simply enter the desired forum (Ask Dr. Greg, Ask Ken, or Comments, Feedback, & Suggestions) and click on the button "New Topic." In addition, you can post a follow-up question to any preexisting topic you care to.
Posting Policy and Terms of Use
All submitted posts do enter a queue and require administrator approval before they appear online. By submitting a question or comment you are agreeing to allow us to change, modify, add to, or delete the content and these Terms of Use, or move the topic to another forum at our sole discretion at any time without further notice.
Questions and comments accepted for publication will be corrected for grammatical and spelling errors to improve readability. We also reserve the right to respond to questions and comments privately instead of publicly.
Generally speaking, we will answer all sincere questions and comments publicly unless we feel doing so would not be in the best interests of either the member, our readers, or the website.
