PNGGauntlet is a .NET program that radically reduces .png graphic files without data loss. PNGauntlet can also be used to convert JPG, GIF, TGA, PCX, and BMP files to PNG.

If you work with png files for website graphics, you will need this utility. Fireworks does not do a very good job of reducing file size and no one wants a 100k+ header graphic file.
