Hi Ken,

I am a British national working in Thailand, i have read that it isn't possible to get a Z visa in a 3rd country!! Do you know anything about this?? any help would be great.

You should be able to get a visa in Bangkok.

When your FAO submits your paperwork he needs to specify which country you must do the processing.

If your FAO forgets, or the SAFEA official forgets, they will specify your home country.

Don't let an uninformed FAO tel you you must go home. It may be easy for them to say, but expensive, tedious and unnecessary for you.

I had visions in my head that i would have to fly all the way back to the UK for nothing, this saves me 1 week of time and about 1000 pounds as well.
