Hi Ken,
I'm a teacher currently working in Armenia, with legal residency here. I had applied (though a recruiter) for a position in Guangdong and seemed to have been accepted, but then the recruiter said I had to go to Canada for the visa, an expensive route. (She said in some provinces that it may not be necessary.)
From the on-line material it seems that if you are a legal resident in another country it is possible to get the Z-visa for any province. So what is the truth? Can a Canadian get a Z-visa for any Chinese province if legally residing in another country? If only for some provinces, which?
